A Guide to Boston Logan Airport

Posted On: 09/05/2017

Flying into or out of Logan on your trip to Boston? Knight’s Airport Limousine has pulled together a guide to keeping entertained in the Boston airport while you wait, just for you.

If you’re traveling with children, Logan has many “Kidport” play areas to keep them occupied and entertained. Located in Terminals A, B and C, these fun play areas designed to let kids have fun while parents unwind while waiting in between flights. Terminal A’s Kidport, located next to Gate 18, offers Playtime LLC climbing structures where they can play air traffic controller with a miniature replica of Boston Logan Airport. Nearby are plenty of kid-approved restaurants, as well as healthier options. There are also nearby coffee shops and bars for parents.

Terminals B & C each also offer their own safe play areas for kids. Terminal B’s Kidport is near Gate B30, and Terminal C’s is near Gate 25. Terminal C’s has vintage-style airplane replicas for kids to climb all over. An airfield carpet and cloud-painted walls allows your child to become their own airplane. Many Kidports also have a seating area with a television for parents.

Logan makes it easy to travel with infants. Each terminal has numerous armchairs for resting mothers throughout the airport. All bathrooms, men’s and women’s, are equipped with baby changing stations. Nursing rooms, with changing stations, outlets and chairs, are also spread around the terminals for your convenience.

Logan Airport showcases permanent and rotating public art exhibits, perfect for exploring the terminals while simultaneously getting a quick education on local New England arts. Speak to a representative at one of Massport’s public information desks located around the lower levels of the terminals to locate the art exhibits.

Happy Traveling!
