A Guide to Halloween in Massachusetts

Posted On: 09/28/2017

October is fast approaching, and you know what that means… Leaves will change, pumpkin patches will overflow, and grocery stores will fill their aisles with candy in preparation for Halloween. But how best to celebrate this spooky day in New England? Knight’s has a guide just for you.

Just a short shuttle ride from Worcester and Boston is one of the most haunted cities in the world. A visit to Salem will bring you back in time to the witch hunts of the 17th century. Today, the town boasts of its spooky past all year round, but Halloween-time gets especially witchy. There are so many Halloween-themed shops, museums, and haunted houses to get you in the spirit.

Salem isn’t the only place where you can ring in autumn with a spook. Ever tried out a haunted corn maze? Davis Farmland Mega Maze hosts one of the best in New England, along with laser tag, zip line, and more. Need more convincing? The maze is in Sterling, a quick ride from Worcester.

Are you feeling adventurous? There are plenty of ghoulish and paranormal tours in the area to test your bravery. Boston has both the Haunted Boston Ghost Tour as well as the Ghosts and Gravestones Tour, both of which are great for families and groups of friends. A bit further afield is Northampton’s Valley Ghost Tours in Western Massachusetts.

Have you picked out your Halloween costume yet? What are you waiting for! Also be sure to book your transportation to and from Boston Logan Airport with Knight’s Limousine soon.
