Massachusetts is famous for its seasons, and what better way to ring in the spring with an Easter celebration. There are plenty of family fun events throughout the state to choose from, and Knights has rounded up the best of the best.
If you’re braving the city streets for the holiday, look no further than Faneuil Hall. On March 24th at 11:30 am, join the crowds for this indoor hunt throughout Faneuil’s historic market halls. The event is free, but you do need to register beforehand!
Outside of Boston and away from the city crowds, there are plenty of places that are hosting Easter events. One of the best known Easter Egg Hunts in the state is at Winslow Farm and Animal Sanctuary in Norton, MA. The hunts take place throughout March and on Easter day, so if you have family plans on the actual holiday, the kids don’t need to miss out on on an egg hunt, a play on the playground, a campfire sit, or a visit to Winslow Farm’s rescued animals.
If you find yourself closer to Ipswich, Appeton Farms hosts an equally family-friendly and fun Easter egg hunt, all while learning about farm animals. This event is $30 entry per family, BYOB - Bring Your Own Basket - and don’t forget to register!
