Every May, Boston hosts one of the best music festivals in the country. The star-studded lineup attracts huge crowds, and fans of all genres. To make it through the day, you’ll need to plan ahead. Knight’s has come up with a short survival guide to Boston Calling.

Boston Calling takes place this year from May 25th-27th (Friday through Sunday) in Harvard Athletic Complex in Alston. If you haven’t bought your ticket yet, act fast. Passes regularly sell out, and you won’t want to miss this year. Once purchased, you’ll receive a wristband in the mail, or you can pick it up at the onsite Box Office. If you’re picking it up onsite, be sure to bring along a photo ID. With this wristband, you’ll be able to enter the grounds, as well as pay for food, beverage, and merchandise if it has been linked with a credit or debit card.

The festival grounds are handicap accessible. You should bring non-aerosol sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, non-professional cameras, one factory-sealed water bottle (no glass allowed), a small clear plastic bag (no backpacks allowed), and comfortable shoes. The website has a full list of prohibited items, which include bicycles, squirt guns, cigarettes, and more. There will be many ATMs around the grounds, as well as portable charging stations, and onsite concessions.

Boston is notorious for its traffic. Avoid the stress, and allow one of our chauffeurs to get you to the festival venue, safely, comfortably, and on time.
